Le Soleil Fruité

Until recently, camping Le Soleil Fruité was still a fruit orchard. The construction of the campsite was started during 2005, and naturally the name was chosen because of what the land used to be used for. The campsite was built using the structure of the former orchard. Facilities are modern with a reception building, shower blocks and swimming pool.

The youngest can cool down in the child pool, whereas the bigger ones can dive into the swimming pools.The miniclub is a to your children dedicated place where they can devote themselves in painting, coloring, lookout for buried treasure, and well other activities under the attentive eye of our two campsite-members who speak french, english and dutch. For the bigger ones :Aquagym, water-polo, beach-volley, badminton, table tennis, boules, … Animated evening during high season once a week.

The mountains of the Vercors range are within easy reach to the east and their rugged beauty is something that should not be missed during any visit to the Drome. The village Châteauneuf-sur-Isère is located a few kilometres from the A7 motorway, the Autoroute du Soleil. The area is nice, tranquil and very rural.

The surrounding area of the campsite is quite level and therefore well suitable for cyclists of all levels. If you take your bikes with you, you will be able to make some beautiful tours through the vineyards of the Drôme. There are great trips for the kids too like the enchanted wood at Hostun, the Parc Animation in Saint-Donat, the parrot show in Eurre and the three hundred crocodiles in the Ferme aux Crocodiles in Pierrelatte.
