Campsite L'ile de la Comtesse is a pleasant family campsite situated on Lac Cuchet, Rhône Alpes. The seven and a half acre site offers 100 plots in a stunning natural setting. Located at the gateway to the Alps beneath some of the range's most famous peaks, the site brings you unspoiled mountain landscapes. This campsite in France is the perfect place to unwind and enjoy a delightful camping holiday.

There is much animation for young and old on the camping Ile de la Comtesse. All days of the week except on Saturdays there is something to do. All animation is done through european employees! (July - August) Children will have great fun on the water slides and the outdoor pool. Not in the mood to cook or sit in a restaurant? Then there is always our snack bar, where you can find delicious French fries, hamburgers, chicken nuggets and muc more. Between the restaurant and snackbar, you can locate the little supermarket. For the small shopping items you may locate them here, but keep in consideration that they don't sell all articles you may require. Supermarket, shops... at 5km.

You really should experience the clean air, tranquillity and space for yourself – and enjoy the marvellous hospitality for which this region is so renowned. You can, for example, enjoy a cycle tour of the surroundings or take a walk, or alternatively, option for a more adventurous excursion and go rafting, canoeing or horseback riding.

Not even a thirty minute drive and you find yourself at 'Lac du Bourget', this is the largest natural lake of France, with neighbouring Aix-les-bains. The scenery is beautiful to take a spin in the car (or go by bike) around this lake. Everywhere you can enjoy the beautiful surroundings. In Aix-les-bain you can rent boats, on the southern side is a beach, ideal for swimming.
