EuroParcs Bad Hoophuizen is a child-friendly holiday park directly on the Veluwemeer Lake! This holiday park rents out mobile homes and various comfortably furnished bungalows and beach villas. The accommodations are all located in the middle of nature. EuroParcs Bad Hoophuizen is centrally located on the Veluwe between the towns of Harderwijk and Nunspeet. EuroParcs Bad Hoophuizen is located directly on the lake and not far from the Veluwe countryside. The park also has its own marina and water sports school where you can get sailing, windsurfing and SUP lessons. The playgrounds, sports fields and the entertainment team also provide plenty of fun. You will find everything you need for a wonderful holiday at the park. There is a mini market for your daily shopping and for buying a newspaper. This is also where you can pick up the fresh sandwiches you ordered the previous evening. There is a snack bar for a quick bite to eat, a milkshake or an ice cream.

Water sports enthusiasts can indulge themselves here!
This park has a child-friendly sandy beach, as the beach slopes gently into the lake. Bad Hoophuizen even has its own surfing school. Even in bad weather, you can swim and splash in the indoor swimming pool. Of course, cycling and walking from this holiday park is also a wonderful daytime activity, the Veluwe is known for it! Cast your fishing line at the most beautiful fishing spot on Lake Veluwe. This can be done from a boat on the lake or from one of the jetties in the park. The park itself is attractive for young and old; with facilities such as a restaurant with terrace, a shop, tennis courts, playground at the beach, a recreation team during the school holidays, but also bicycle rental.

Into the countryside
You don't have to leave EuroParcs Bad Hoophuizen for a successful holiday. The surrounding area is too beautiful to miss. Nature lovers are well advised to go to the Veluwe. Bicycles can be rented at the park and the Leuvenumse Bos, the Elspeetse Heide and the Speulderbos are beautiful places for cycling or walking. But a ride along the Veluwemeer is also recommended. Another special place is Vierhouten, where you can visit Het Verhiden Dorp (Hidden Village) and then enjoy delicious game dishes in the village.

Lovely small towns close by
Other fun days out with the family include a visit to Harderwijk, Elburg or Nunspeet. Harderwijk has a historic centre and is best known for the Dolfinarium. Nunspeet is an old artists' village with interesting museums, and Elburg is a picturesque harbour town on the banks of the Veluwemeer lake. You can also make a trip to Flevoland, to the Walibi Holland amusement park for example, with many spectacular roller coasters and attractions for young and old.
