In the south of the Netherlands, in South Limburg, you will find EuroParcs Resort Brunssummerheide. Its location next to the Brunsummerheide nature area is one of the many advantages of this resort. From here, you can set off on lovely walking and cycling trips. In summer, children can have great fun splashing around in the swimming lake, while the youngest guests will also enjoy a visit to the petting zoo. At the resort, you stay with your family in attractively furnished wooden chalets.
Relax in the countryside, enjoy good food and drink, and explore the surroundings
From the terrace of Brasserie De Uitvlucht, you can enjoy wonderful views over the rolling landscape. You can watch the golfers or even have a go yourself. Right next to the resort is a beautifully laid-out golf course with no fewer than 45 holes. This means you can improve your handicap during your holiday in a relaxed setting and without having to travel far.
Shopping and family days out are also highly recommended
There are plenty of enjoyable outings for the whole family. On a trip to Maastricht, for example, you can visit the Bonnefanten Museum, the Treasury of Saint Servatius, or admire this remarkable European city from the tower of St John’s Church. Take a seat at the lively Vrijthof square in one of its many cafés or restaurants. A stroll along the Maasboulevard or a cycle ride by the Maasplassen lakes is also well worth it. Animal lovers of all ages can head to GaiaZOO to see rhinos and many other animals.
Just across the Dutch-German border, Aachen is waiting to be explored. Stroll through the city of Charlemagne and the Romans, admire the richly decorated cathedral and the historic town hall. If you would like to walk from the Netherlands into both Germany and Belgium within just a few steps, visit the Three-Country Point. There is also a viewing tower there. Another worthwhile excursion is Hoensbroek Castle in Heerlen. This castle was built around 1375 and is regarded as one of the best-preserved moated castles of its kind in Europe.
The surroundings of EuroParcs Resort Brunssummerheide
The natural landscape of the Brunsummerheide makes it a wonderful destination for a holiday in South Limburg. Explore the coniferous and deciduous forests, or admire the largest heathlands in the province of Limburg. Along the way, you can stop for a picnic by one of the ponds or lakes during a walk or cycle ride. Inland dunes and marshland can also be discovered here. Mountain bikers will enjoy the four different MTB routes created by the local mountain bike club. In addition, there are many family-friendly cycling routes for relaxed days out.

Echt een topvakantie gehad op de Brunsummer heide, mooi huisje en ook nog eens gezellig aangekleed. Heerlijk gewandeld in het omliggende natuurgebied. Fietsend ook de omgeving goed te verkennen.
