Camping Trasimeno is located in the heart of Italy on the beautiful shores of Lake Trasimeno and has a small private beach. This small-scale campsite by the lake is fairly new and offers direct access to its private beach on Lake Trasimeno. The pitches are spacious and shaded, and a few even have views over the lake. As well as neat and clean sanitary facilities, the campsite also has a snack bar and a restaurant where you can enjoy delicious pizzas. A supermarket is just 2 kilometres from the campsite. In the small campsite shop, you can buy daily groceries and fresh bread.

You can also stay here in glamping tents, which is a lovely experience. You can cool off not only in the lake but also in the attractive swimming pool with a children’s pool and a small slide. After a refreshing swim, you can relax on one of the sun loungers. From the restaurant terrace, you overlook the pool.

A child-friendly campsite by the lake
Children have been well thought of here too. Camping Trasimeno has an outdoor playground, a children’s pool, a sports field and an entertainment team. The entertainment team speaks Dutch and English and is mainly aimed at children aged 6 to 12. So there is plenty to keep younger guests entertained on the campsite. Older children and adults can play football or tennis or make use of the multifunctional sports field.

Discovering Umbria is enjoyable and full of surprises
Umbria is varied and unique. It offers nature, culture, history, charming villages and beautiful towns, all set against breathtaking views of a lovely rolling landscape. The central location of charming Camping Trasimeno is truly special. The campsite is on the northern side of Lake Trasimeno. This area is also seen as the green heart of Italy. Cities such as Perugia (about 30 km), Assisi (about 40 km), Siena (about 75 km) and even Rome are easy to reach by car or train.
