Are you looking for a lovely campsite in Nouvelle-Aquitaine, not far from Soulac-sur-Mer? The family-friendly campsite Marvilla Parks La Pointe du Médoc is located at Pointe de Grave, between the Gironde estuary and the Atlantic Ocean. The campsite is very well maintained and offers all the facilities you need for a carefree holiday, including a heated swimming pool with paddling pool, restaurant, bar, campsite shop and well-kept sanitary facilities. In July and August, both children and adults can take part in creative workshops, and during high season various sports tournaments are organised.
A lovely pool complex and playground
In addition to a pleasant outdoor pool with waterslides, there is also an indoor pool, ideal for cooler or rainy days. During high season, a fun entertainment programme is provided for all ages. The beaches in this region are magnificent and well worth a visit. On site, you can enjoy a snack and a drink at the bar or restaurant. If you prefer to relax, you can join yoga sessions or take part in relaxation exercises in the pool. In the evenings, several times a week, there are lively party nights featuring dancing, music and theatre.
Cycling, walking, water sports and wine tasting
From the campsite, you can enjoy a wide range of activities. A beautiful wine route passes several renowned vineyards. The Médoc region offers great natural diversity: the largest estuary in Europe, charming little harbours, vast pine forests and 100 kilometres of sandy beaches. The Gironde is also a fantastic destination for cycling, with an extensive network of safe and well-maintained cycle paths. At times you’ll cycle along wide paved routes, at others along narrow paths winding through forests and dunes. Besides the beaches, there are several inland lakes with sandy shores. Visit an authentic château and sample some of France’s finest Grand Crus. The city of Bordeaux, with its museums and elegant shopping streets, is certainly worth a visit. You can also explore the Basilique Notre-Dame-de-la-fin-des-Terres in Soulac-sur-Mer, which is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
