About Campsite Le Bois de Valmarie in Argelès-sur-Mer
Camping Le Bois de Valmarie is located near Argelès-sur-Mer in the Languedoc-Roussillon region of southern France. This charming campsite enjoys beautiful views over the bay of Argelès-sur-Mer. Set at the foot of the Pyrenees, at the northern end of the Côte Vermeille, with its 7 kilometres of sandy beaches, it offers a fantastic setting for a family holiday. The lovely Le Racou beach is just a short walk away and is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the sunshine.
A fantastic campsite in the South of France
Camping Le Bois de Valmarie is a charming, small five-star campsite just outside Argelès-sur-Mer. Beautifully situated on a hillside and within easy walking distance of the beach, it is particularly well suited to families with younger children.
The campsite boasts a lovely pool complex with stunning views over the bay. Located at the highest point of the campsite, the pool area features a swimming pool with waterslides, a Jacuzzi and a paddling pool for little ones. The restaurant and bar are perfect for enjoying a delicious meal or unwinding with a refreshing drink.
The nearest beach, Le Racou, is just across the road from the campsite. Only 2 km away lies the lively seaside resort of Argelès-sur-Mer, offering a wide choice of cafés, restaurants and activities, both on land and in the water. Please note that the campsite is close to a railway line, so passing trains can occasionally be heard.

The coastline around Argelès-sur-Mer boasts more than 7 kilometres of sun-drenched sandy beaches. Regular boat trips depart from the harbour towards Collioure and Spain. Collioure is a picturesque former fishing village near the Spanish border, known for its historic charm and beautiful surroundings. Its 17th-century castle and stunning coastal scenery have inspired famous artists such as Matisse and Picasso.
Collioure, just 5 km away, and Perpignan, around 25 km from the campsite, are both well worth a visit. For a combination of culture and shopping, why not explore the Salvador Dalí Museum in Figueres or take a day trip to Barcelona, approximately 150 km away?
If you're looking for something more adventurous, head to Argelès Aventure, a treetop adventure park offering plenty of excitement. Younger visitors will love a trip to the nearby funfair, while Aqualand water park, around 12 km away, is a great choice for a fun-filled family day out.

Wanneer je toe bent in deze hectische tijd aan wat rust dan zit je eigenlijk wel heel relaxed hier. De camping is keurig en schoon. Verder is de ligging zo kort bij zee echt fijn. Ons gezinnetje heeft volop genoten, geen spijt van deze keuze.

Fijne en keurige camping. Vriendelijk personeel. Proper zwembad. Wat een mooi strand en slechts 5 minuten lopen.

Boffen in meivakantie een van de weinige plekjes in Europa waar de zon volop scheen... De camping ligt op korte afstand van de stranden. Zwembad keurig, wel wat te koud zo in het voorjaar ( was wel verwarmd) wij zijn koukleumen. Genoten van strand en zon en de fijne camping.

Genoten van de omgeving en van deze camping. Fijn zwembad met leuke glijbanen. Je loopt vanaf de camping zo naar het centrum en de leuke haven. Hadden een fijne stacaravan met houten terras. Wel veel stacaravans en dicht op elkaar. Fijne campingwinkel met heerlijk vers brood 's morgens. Restaurant te duur voor wat ze bieden.

Onze vakantie op camping Le Bois du Valmarie was gewoon af. Onze kinderen 9 enn 11 hebben hier een heerlijke vakantie gehad, dus wij ook. s´morgens animatie en s´middags lekker zwemmen. Omdat de douche in onze caravan toch wel beetje krap was regelmatig gebruik gemaakt van het sanitair op de camping, helemaal top. Het restaurant was top en de winkel op de camping ook.

"Coulliore is leuk."
