Not far from the charming village of Messanges in south-west France, you'll find five-star Camping Lou Pignada. This medium-sized campsite is set in a beautiful pine forest, just 1.5 km from the stunning sandy beaches of Les Landes. At the heart of this lovely family campsite, you'll find a restaurant, bar and pizzeria, along with the impressive water park. The pool complex features an indoor swimming pool and two outdoor pools, as well as two paddling pools for younger children. All the pools are heated to 25°C.

Little ones can enjoy their own small water slide, while children over 10 can have fun on the exciting Kamikaze and Fun slides.

For a more relaxing experience, head to the spa and wellness area or unwind on the sun terrace with comfortable loungers. Closer to the campsite, the Courant d'Huchet Nature Reserve, approximately 13 km away, is well worth visiting. Its visitor centre offers a fascinating introduction to the area's natural environment.

Surfing enthusiasts will love Hossegor, known for its world-class waves and international surfing competitions. The resort also boasts an excellent golf course. The scenic Vélodyssée cycle route offers a lovely way to discover nearby seaside resorts such as Messanges, Capbreton, Seignosse and Vieux-Boucau. Fancy exploring a little further? Take a day trip to Dax or Biarritz, or visit the charming coastal towns of Capbreton and Saint-Jean-de-Luz. You could even cross the Spanish border and spend a day discovering the beautiful city of San Sebastián.
