Petite Suisse family camp site is located just east of the River Ourthe, near the village of Dochamps.This is a lovely location set against a hill, in the middle of beautiful surroundings full of streams, woods, mountains and cliffs which remind you of the Luxembourg nature reserve of Little Switzerland, from which this terraced camp site gets its name.

There is a nice swimming pool at Petite Suisse camp site which is divided into three sections so that everyone can have fun here. The swimming pool is heated and has a play fountain for children.The enthusiastic entertainment team have everything on hand. From the May holiday until 1 October but also during the Autumn and Christmas holidays.

The professional entertainment team organise activities for all ages inside and outside the school holidays. There's the 'Ranger' theme that focuses on nature and adventure. Sports tournaments, treasure hunts, haunted nights or exciting outdoor sports activities for all ages. There is of course also a playground with climbing equipment where children can play. Meanwhile you can enjoy a Belgian beer on the lovely terrace at Petite Suisse, knock a ball around on the tennis court or rent a mountain bike to explore the lovely countryside.

So there's plenty to do at Petite Suisse camp site. But it's also enjoyable beyond it. A trip out to the tourist towns of La Roche and Durbuy for example, or a visit to the Hotton Caves, the Plopsacoo amusement park or Houtopia Kids' World in Houffalize. Petite Suisse is the ideal starting point to enjoy the Belgian Ardennes! There's a friendly bar and good restaurant with a terrace that has a view of the pool.

The campsite is located in a lovely area, surrounded by mighty rocks that remind you of the Swiss mountains. This is great walking country. However, this is also the eastern river area of the Ourthe, with sparkling streams and wonderful forests. There's plenty of pleasant towns to visit, like Durbuy, Hotton or Hampteau. Canoe at la Roche and Hotton on the Ourthe river. Rivers like the Sûre or the Prüm offer lots of opportunities for recreational activities too. Beer lovers must not miss out on a visit to the l'Achouffe brewery and then taste one of the famous Trappist beers on a terrace in a nearby town. Visit the well-known stalactite caves of Han, and Plopsa Coo is 36km away and Plopsa Indoor Hasselt is 117km away.
