Not far from the bathing resort of Rosas, and within reach of the medieval town of Castel Mar, you'll find the idyllic holiday park campsite right in the heart of a protected nature reserve but with direct access to the beach on the Gulf of Roses (700 m). This calm setting is a lovely contrast to the atmosphere of the glorious Empuriabrava beach, in the Aiguamolls natural park just 600 m away. Step outside the gates, and you will find all of Spain's warmth and lively activity in the many nearby shops, clubs, bars and restaurants.

At the centre of campsite Castell Mar are two swimming pools giving you a fantastic view over the bay and the nature reserve, with the Pyrenees in the far distance. If you fancy flopping on the beach, you’re only 300 m away from it here at Castell Mar. There’s an on-site takeaway for the days you’d rather not cook but would still rather eat on your own patio: the takeaway menu includes grilled chicken, pizzas and even (if you order in advance) paella. Castell Mar also has an on-site restaurant, and on some evenings, shows are put on there to entertain you as you eat.

The entertainment team has a varied programme for both grown-ups and children. There are daily open-air showings of a good range of international films on a big screen, which also shows major sports events, cartoons and more. There’s also a games hall and internet café.

There’s no shortage of excursions that can be made from Castell Mar: you could visit the nature reserve, or equally worthwhile, see the ruins and historic heritage at Castel Mar. Make sure you visit Aquabrava, a water theme park in Rosas that boasts Europe’s biggest wave machine! The campsite is only 300mts from the large beach of Empuriabrava and 3 kms from the Residential Marina of Empuriabrava,also know as the little Venice, with more than 30kms of navigable canals. Empuriabrava offers excellent infrastructures, and it is also one of the most important nautical and aquatic sports centers of Europe.
