Historic ground
Jelling Family Camping is located on historic ground in South Jutland. You camp on the outskirts of Jelling. Several Viking kings used to live here and today it is one of Denmark's most important monuments. You can also camp in beautiful, wooded surroundings with sloping roads and beautiful views. From your campsite you can look out over the Danish countryside with green meadows and winding paths. What a soothing feeling!
Swimming pool and lake
If you camp at Jelling Family Camping you can make free use of the outdoor swimming pool next to the campsite. The pool is a lovely place to splash in the water, dive off the diving board or play in the paddling pool. In the sunbathing area around the pool you can enjoy the sun while the children have fun on the playground. Would you rather dive into a real swimming lake? Then go to Fårup Sø. Here you can not only swim or play on the beach, but it is also a nice place to throw out your fishing rod.
