campsite Perna, Dalmatia
Camping Perna lies in the Perna-Orebic holiday paradise, in sunny Dalmatia. The historical town of Korcula, and the island of the same name, is straight across the other side of the water. This traditional family camping has a large number of beautiful mobile homes, which date from 2013. The quality of the facilities is excellent, as you may expect from a four star camping. The restaurant and the windsurfing school form the throbbing heart of this camping. The pebble beach expands over a 600 meter distance and because the sea is not immediately deep, this location proves ideal for children. Those guests looking for deeper water can visit the beach along the path from the campsite to the town Orebić where the deep water and crystal clear sea will surely satisfy every swimmer.
This campsite has:
• Marvellous, natural location
• Restaurant and beach bar
• Excellent surfing opportunities
This destination is also suitable for children:
• Small children's playground
• Beach with a gentle slope
Camping Perna is very close to the centre of Orebic, the tourist heart of the peninsular. You stay in traditional Dalmatia, with its hefty mountains and steep slopes that come down to the sea. Pay a visit to the maritime museum next to the Franciscan Cloisters close to the camping: the marvellous location is a feast for the eyes. The local wines are known all over the world, so you should certainly taste them! You are also close to the Mljet National Park and Ston, which has Europe's longest city walls. The mussel and oyster farms and the top-quality restaurants in Mali Ston will certainly be the culinary highlights of your holiday. A visit to the historic walled city of Dubrovnik, a UNESCO city, will certainly be worth your while. We also recommend an excursion to Korcula. Its great attraction is its truly lovely town centre – and its just a ten-minute voyage from your camping!
The town Orebić which was once an important marine centre and now is a popular tourist destination, is located 120 km from the historic City Dubrovnik and the Čilipi Airport. The Island Korčula is only a 10 minute boat ride from Orebić. Orebić offers its guests the untouched countryside covered with hundred year old pine and cypress trees, olive and almond trees and many other types of plants and cactus’s. The town offers many restaurants, shops, cafes, a marine museum, and church from the baroque period.
Stay at a good camping in authentic Dalmatia, with super windsurfing opportunities. Enjoy the beach and the very clear water, go on a day trip to Dubrovnik and discover Korcula Island – and enjoy the sun, water fun and delicious food every day!
