In Les Landes, right on the Bay of Arcachon and just under 20 kilometres from the Atlantic Ocean, you will find the perfect holiday on a green and friendly family campsite. Fontaine Vieille has everything you need for a successful holiday.

The campsite is located directly on the beach of Arcachon Bay. The peculiarity is that during low tide the entire bay empties and you can walk along the bottom of the bay while a few hours later you can paddle again. The campsite's water complex consists of an indoor pool and 3 outdoor pools. So even if the weather is not so good, you can always swim here! And if you get hungry after a walk or a day at the beach, make a quick reservation at the restaurant or get an ice cream at the end of another great day's holiday!

There's no need to be bored in Les Landes
The Fontaine Vieille campsite is located on the edge of the beautiful seaside resort of Andernos-les-Bains, which is known for its famous pier, among other things. It is 230 metres long and one of the longest in France. From here you have a beautiful view of the Bay of Arcachon.

Treat yourself to freshly caught oysters in a cosy restaurant on the harbour. You should not miss out on a visit to Bordeaux. Visit classics such as the Place de la Bourse and the Miroir d'Eau and discover trendy neighbourhoods such as Les Chartrons with its many 18th century wine depots and Le Bastide with Le Lion Bleu. Would you like to spend a day in nature? Then climb the Dune of Pilat, the largest natural sand dune in Europe. It's a short walk to the top, but then you'll be rewarded with the best view of the sea! You can also go on beautiful hiking and cycling tours everywhere here.
