Camping Parc de Fierbois is a château campsite in the finest tradition, set amidst 250 acres of parkland, surrounding a lake with a sandy beach. Located 30 km south of Tours it is the ideal starting point to discover Chenonceau, Villandry, Amboise, Futuroscope, Zoo Parc de Beauva and the Touraine wine routes.
The facilities and large emplacements of this ‘Castels et Camping’ site are truly impressive. This ‘Castel’ parc also offers lots of high season activities, from team sports to evening entertainment. A stage in the large, relaxing bar area provides a great setting for themed nights including talent shows and quizzes, whilst the central square is a fine backdrop for a host of daytime activities. Away from the square you will find an impressive modern poolside bar complex to please all the family, with a play pool and slides for small children.
The main family pool is a rocky paradise complete with a waterfall and five waterslides. The separate kids pool is perfect for the little ones to splash around in and the sunloungers and sun terrace offer the perfect place to just chill. These modern facilities are suitable for all ages and the aquagym and water polo will provide active entertainment for the sporty amongst you.
Le Parc de Fierbois offers plenty to see and do, from strolling round the parc’s own lake to enjoying the amazing surrounding area. Days out include a wide choice of nearby châteaux and of course the vineyards of Chinon and Vouvray. You are also close to the town of Tours, perfect for shopping and sightseeing. Here you are never far away from a château, wine cellar or vineyard. At nearby Azay-le-Rideau 'fairy-tale' castle you can marvel at the sound and light (son et lumière) display illustrating its history. Or if it's shopping and eating out you're looking for then medieval Tours is perfect, complete with stunning cathedral. Further afield in the town of Mosnes is the Fantasy Forest, where activities include mountain biking, canoeing and a tree-top adventure.

Zoals bij de meeste campings in Frankrijk was ook hier het zwembad te klein in het hoogseizoen. Verder alleen maar pluspunten wat ons betreft. De vakantie met onze nog jonge kinderen verliep hier fantastisch. Verder een leuk meer en leuke glijbanen bij het zwembad. Het meer was vooral om te vissen, ik zou er niet snel in zwemmen. Verder een leuk klimbos. Was een prima week hier.

Nieuw sanitairgebouw, keurig en modern. Fijn buitenbad, binnenzwembad is klein maar ok. De pizza's zijn heerlijk, het afhalen loopt wat chaotisch maar ach we zijn op vakantie en wij zagen het met een brede glimlach aan. Verder een super fijne vakantie gehad met het hele gezin.

Een levendige camping waar veel georganiseerd wordt. De camping is groen aangelegd en ligt mooi. Een mooie compleet ingerichte stacaravan, top. Fijn buitenbad en ook een verwarmd binnenbad (wel klein maar prima bij minder weer) . Jammer dat ook hier de race om de ligbedden sterk aanwezig was. Kastelen bezocht, charmante dorpjes en gefietst. Lekker pizza's gegeten op de camping. Supermarkten liggen op korte afstand.

Een mooie caravan gehad van Eurocamp op deze ´Fiere´ camping. Onze zoons zijn echte skaters dus die vonden het skatepark heel leuk. Maar we hebben ook een dochter en die vond het heel leuk om met ons de kastelen in de buurt te verkennen. De camping is mooi en schoon. Het zwembad leuk opgezet, maar niet heel groot. Als je afstanden wilt zwemmen kunnen je bij het meer terecht. In het restaurant was het altijd druk, het eten was niet bijzonder maar goed. Her en der waren wat dingen vies of kapot, maar wij zaten natuurlijk ook in het hoogseizoen. We zouden zeker terug gaan, al is het maar voor de heerlijke wijnen uit de Loire!

Wij zijn hier in mei geweest, en dit is zeer goed bevallen. Heerlijk rustig en mooi aangelegd in een mooie natuurlijke omgeving. Aardig behulpzaam personeel, uitstekende voorzieningen, de supermarkt was in mei al open.
