Château des Marais is set in the green and spacious grounds of an old manor house. Enjoying a peaceful location in the grounds of a lovely old manor house, the parc has been developed by the friendly owners to a very high standard, with excellent facilities, especially for young families. The grassy emplacements are shaded by mature trees, with plenty of space for children to run around.

The superb pool complex has two pools, one with a ‘lazy river’, toboggans and a retractable roof over one of the pools. The parc is extremely pretty, with a variety of trees, shrubs and attractive old buildings.

The Loire river is just a short distance away, with opportunities for canoeing and fishing. Most importantly, the Loire is most famous for its many châteaux, two of which, Chambord and Blois, are close to hand.
The Royal palace, Château de Chambord is just 6 miles away, one of the most extravagant in the region and well worth the visit, day or night. Slightly further out is the beautifully romantic Château de Chenonceau. Also visit the narrow streets of Tours for a spot of shopping and a bite to eat, and marvel at its Gothic cathedral. For walkers and cyclists, there are many forests and parks waiting to be explored. Finally for chocolate lovers there's the Max Vauche Chocolate Factory, just 15km away.
