This charming campsite is situated in the nature reserve of Loire-Anjou at the Vienne, a tributory of the Loire. The campsite is located just outside the village, in lovely countryside. Within 10 minutes drive you'll find several supermarkets. Kids will love the two partly covered pools with waterslides and a separate children's pool. Sport enthusiasts can hire bikes and there's also a tennis court.
  • Also fun for the children are the Mini Club, the playground and, if they can swim, floating around in a (rented) boat on the lake. The terrace of the restaurant, with a beautiful view over the river, is the place to be after sunset with disco, karaoke and music.

    The Loire Valley enjoys great fame for its many chateaux, the most famous being Amboise, Chambord, Chenonceau and Azay le Rideau. Cyclists will enjoy 'La Loire à Vélo', a unique route (800km long) which takes you past many attractions. Visit the theme park Mini-Chateaux Val de Loire in Amboise with 45 scale models of the most beautiful castles of the Loire. Enjoy the view from the top of the Pagoda of Chanteloup, a 44 meter high conical lookout tower. A canoe trip is the best way to explore the Natural Park Loire-Anjou-Touraine.

    Het nieuwe deel is nog wat kaal en weinig schaduw. Genoten van de ligging van de camping. Prima restaurant. Animatie spreekt geen Engels voor onze kinderen jammer. Onze nog nieuwe mobile home was keurig, schoon en compleet ingericht.

    TIPS:

    "Kanovaren, kastelen bezoeken en de markt bij het plaatsje naast camping. Chinon en Tours bezoeken. Verder niet vergeten wijnen te proeven."

    Fijne niet te grote camping waar onze kinderen heerlijk konden rondrennen. Fijn zwembad om in te spelen. Fijn winkeltje. Wij hebben prima gegeten en onze muppets ook. De animatie was ook heel geliefd bij de kleintjes.

    Niet te grote, overzichtelijke camping. Een zwembad daar zeg je U tegen. Het zwembad was voor een deel ook overdekt, hebben wij gelukkig eind augustus niet nodig gehad, maar bij slechter weer heel makkelijk. Wij hebben ook genoten van de zowat nieuwe accommodatie. Schoon en compleet ingericht. De omgeving is heel mooi, veel gefietst en gewandeld.

    Onze stacaravan was top. Het zwembad perfect ook als het weer slechter is. Op het nieuwe gedeelte is een tennisveld en basketbal/volleybal/voetbalveld. Voor de afhaalmaaltijden betaal je echt te veel. In de omgeving zijn er prachtige zonnebloemvelden. Boodschappen kun je doen in Lílle Bouchard of Ste Maure de Touraine.

    TIPS:

    "Kastelen in Chinon, Azay le Rideau of Loches. In Saumur een museum vol tanks en op de weg erheen grotwoningen. Tours lijkt een vieze stad maar de Place- Pumereau en du Grand Marche zijn de moeite waard."
