Just outside the bustle of the famous Sarlat (with its great weekly market) you'll find the village of Proissans. The quiet campsite here has a privileged spot, beautifully situated in natural surroundings, with atmospheric old buildings in the original architecture of this region.The (partly heated) swimming pools are tastefully landscaped. You can enjoy yourself on the volleyball court, the mini golf and the tennis court. Those looking for peace and quiet can try a spot of fishing in the samll river beside the campsite. The restuarant serves excellent meals. The Dordogne is known worldwide for its culinary highlights.
For many people the series of turns that the river takes between Veyrignac and Beynac is the most beautiful part of the Dordogne. With little pearls like Domme, Castelnaud-la-Chapelle and La Roche Gageac and at each trun of the river a mighty castle, high on a rock, this must be one of the most beautiful rivers in Europe.
Sarlat-la-Caneda is an absolute must on your list of places to visit. A historical village with its own special atmosphere and lovely restuarants. The famous caves of Lascaux can be found 50km away, but closer are the caves of Lacave and Padriac, which are also very interesting. A special trip is one down the river on a 'Gabare', a replica of the ships that were used in the old days to transport cargo to Bordeaux. There are several tree trails in this area - good fun for both young and old.

Ons plekje met stacaravan ligt prettig, schaduw en privacy. De mensen bij de receptie zijn erg aardig en staan voor je klaar. Onze caravan is perfect, lijkt wel nieuw... Een fijn en best wel ruim zwembad en leuke trampoline. Klein nadeeltje is dat animatie in het Frans aangeboden wordt, geen talen verder. Jammer gemiste kans, Engels zou al een pluspunt zijn wat ons betreft. Medewerkers spreken overigens wel Engels. Verder een prima vakantie tot nu toe.

Een topvakantie in het voorjaar gehad. Deze camping is erg mooi mede door het nieuwe zwembad met glijbanen en de mogelijkheid om binnen te zwemmen. Verder is deze omgeving zooo mooi. Onze accommodatie was keurig.

Basic camping en zo ook de accommodatie, wisten we. Al met al een fijne vakantie gehad op deze gastvrije camping. De zwembaden lekker om af te koelen. Heerlijk gegeten in het restaurant, gaat allemaal wat langzaam, maar dan heb je ook wat.. Keurig sanitair.

Superfijne vakantie gehad op deze mooie groene camping met fijn zwembad. Je zit hier wel in een rustige omgeving. Rust en ruimte zeggen ze dan, nou wij hebben er van genoten. Aardige campingbeheerder.

Een sprookje, deze camping. Wij gingen met gemengde gevoelens, gelukkig is de campig van eigenaar gewisseld. De organisatie H. doet het goed, fijne mobil home. De camping wordt omgeven door natuurschoon, als je niet van rust houdt, wegblijven a.u.b. Je kunt leuke uitstapjes doen vanuit de camping.

"Kastelen bezoeken, grotten, musea en natuurlijk Kanoën."

Wij hebben hier de vakantie van ons leven gehad. Mooie natuur, fijne zwembaden niet te groot, rust en veel te zien in de omgeving. Fijn Personeel. Een leuke tennisbaan. Vooral leuk voor kinderen tot een jaar of 10, daarna misschien wel wat rustig.
