Charming Camping Le Clou is located in Coux-et-Bigaroque, a little village in the Périgord Noir region (Dordogne). On the 4-hectare park-like grounds there are 120 camping places. The atmosphere is friendly; children are feeling very quickly at ease. The various accommodations contribute to the ‘glamping feeling’: camping in your own tent or caravan, staying in a robust safari tent, a modern Confort-mobile home or Grand Confort-mobile home, or a cosy apartment.

In between the authentic Perigord buildings there is a wide terrace with stunning views over the Dordogne valley and the swimming pools. Read a magazine, sip a cappuccino or a homemade cocktail in the sun. WiFi, lounge music, comfortable furniture and the pleasant bar complete your holiday feeling. In the meantime, your children are having fun at the playgrounds. It is possible to join the table d’hotes for dinner, or have your lunch salad, French fries, snacks or pizza served at the terrace. Throughout the entire season the boulanger brings freshly-baked bread every day.

In order to provide optimal service a Dutch team is present to organise various activities, especially for children. But also in low season there is often something going on at Le Clou.

The beautiful nature and the great and a diverse amount of sights will surprise you when you first arrive in the Dordogne. The landscape is decorated by the river running through beautiful hills and houses built of yellow ochre stones. In charming cities and villages you can find daily authentic French street markets and big amounts of sights such as castles, caves and prehistoric excavations.
