La Vallée de Deauville

Camping La Vallée de Deauville is located on the Normandy coast in the Calvados region east of Caen. Deauville is a well known resort, as indeed is Trouville close by.

The neat and tidy camp site is very natural with plenty of greenery and flowers, and there is a lake where you can go fishing. Apart from the Atlantic beaches you can also enjoy fun at the camp site because there is a Aquapark or swimming paradise with slides, waterfalls and rock formations. Children can also amuse themselves with computer games in the games room or in the playground. Small children can enjoy themselves in the pleasant playgrounds.

There's a golf course, leisure lake and the small creek of Touques for fishing. Plus there's a good, large pond at the campsite where you can fish for free.
Deauville has been associated with horses for many years and is known as the horse riding capital of France. It all began at the end of the 19th century when wealthy Parisians built second homes on the Deauville coast. This resulted in aristocratic houses luxury hotels, a casino, horse breeding and races. It's located on the southern estuary of the river Seine, which has lovely beaches. Other places close by include Honfleur, Houlgate and the city of Caen.
