About Campsite La Vallée de Deauville in Saint-Arnoult
Just a few kilometres outside Deauville lies the village of Saint-Arnoult, a leafy setting with Campsite La Vallée de Deauville right at its heart. The campsite is situated on the Normandy coast in the Calvados department, just east of Caen. Deauville is a famous seaside resort, as is neighbouring Trouville. This is a superb campsite that fully deserves its five stars.
Why choose Campsite La Vallée de Deauville?
The neat, natural grounds are exceptionally inviting—wonderfully green and adorned with mature trees, plants, and colourful flowers. Facilities at Campsite La Vallée de Deauville are plentiful. Along with spending days at the beach, you can enjoy endless water fun right on site at the impressive aquatic park, complete with waterslides, waterfalls, and rock features. The on-site restaurant is certainly worth a visit as well. Close by, you will find a golf course, a leisure lake, and the River Touques for fishing. The campsite itself features a large, scenic fishing pond where you can cast a line free of charge. For younger children, lovely play areas are provided.
D-Day and Normandy
The famous beaches where the D-Day Allied landings took place are roughly a 45-minute to 1.5-hour drive away. You can visit numerous museums and memorials in the area, such as the Juno Beach Centre commemorating Canadian forces (around an hour's drive). The picturesque harbour town of Honfleur is another must-see. In addition, the bustling resorts of Deauville and Trouville come highly recommended for their marinas, tourist land trains, casinos, broad boardwalks, and vibrant holiday atmosphere.
If you have any passion for horses, Deauville is an absolute must. The town is widely known as the equestrian capital of France, a reputation that took root in the late 19th century when wealthy Parisians built summer retreats along the Deauville coast. Alongside aristocratic villas, you will find luxury hotels, a casino, and an immense racecourse and equestrian complex. The town sits at the southern mouth of the Seine estuary, boasting fine sandy beaches from which you can watch large container ships and ocean liners glide past towards Le Havre.

Ruime kampeerplekken.
Score details:
