Looking for a glamping holiday by the water? Village Flottant de Pressac – literally the “Floating Village” – truly lives up to its name. At the heart of the site lies a large recreational lake, with several unique floating accommodations set directly on the water. You can swim, fish or take a boat out onto the lake. Prefer to stay on dry land? Choose one of the safari tents along the shore and enjoy the peaceful natural surroundings. The Vienne department is an excellent base for exploring the wider Poitou-Charentes region.

Surrounded by nature
The campsite is located in a protected Natura 2000 area, known for its rich flora and fauna. If you prefer not to swim in the lake, there is also a heated outdoor swimming pool on site. For extra relaxation, you can reserve the outdoor spa (jacuzzi) for private use.

Discover Vienne and Charente
Village Flottant de Pressac lies at the meeting point of the Vienne and Charente regions, offering a varied landscape ideal for walking and cycling. At reception, you’ll find route maps and you can hire mountain bikes. Nearby towns such as Poitiers, Chauvigny and Montmorillon are well worth visiting. Families can follow a special educational walking trail around the lake, leading through the Natura 2000 area. With a little luck, you may spot wild ducks, deer or hares. Restaurant La Marina (open April–November, six days a week) serves meals on site. Breakfast service and meal baskets are also available.
