Camping Stover Strand International is situated a short distance from the port city of Hamburg, in a lush green setting directly on the banks of the River Elbe. It is a welcoming campsite featuring its own private beach on the riverbank. Water sports enthusiasts are in the right place here, with opportunities for canoeing and water-skiing right from the site.

Everything for a Great Holiday
The camping pitches are unparceled, giving you the freedom to choose your own spot on the grass. Trees scattered throughout the grounds provide ample shade. While the main riverside site is open from Easter to October, there are pitches available year-round behind the dyke. You won't need to travel far for supplies; there is a large EDEKA supermarket directly on the campsite, stocking groceries as well as camping and fishing gear. You can also enjoy excellent regional dishes in the restaurant or head to the cosy cafeteria for coffee, fresh rolls, and cakes. During the summer, fun activities are organised for the youngest guests.

Explore Hamburg and Lüneburg
The campsite is the perfect base for exploring the surrounding area, including the cities of Hamburg and Lüneburg, or for setting off on cycling tours along the many local routes. Transport connections are excellent: there is a boat connection to Hamburg, and on weekends from May to October, a free bicycle bus offers a shuttle service to the city.

Discover the Hanseatic City
The 'Free and Hanseatic City' of Hamburg is a must-see. While the vast harbour areas may seem industrial at first glance, the city centre will surprise you with its greenery and striking architecture, such as the new Elbphilharmonie concert hall. The harbour is well worth a visit, especially during the annual Harbour Festival. Museum lovers should not miss the International Maritime Museum, located less than 15 minutes from the central station.
