Wander around Lou Pignada Ondres and the first thing you’ll notice is its lovely laid-back atmosphere. We think there’s something authentically French about the parc, from its compact, village-like feel to its peaceful pine-grove setting.
The pool complex is the heart of the parc, where you’ll find three separate pools, all heated to an inviting temperature. Plus there’s a spacious sun terrace for basking under the warm rays of the Landes sun.
When it comes to activities, there are plenty of sports on offer including beach volleyball, football and badminton. Little ones can sign up for treasure hunts, and arts and crafts at the kids’ club – there’s also a playground filled with slides, swings and climbing frames.
One of our favourite things about Lou Pignada Ondres is the nightly entertainment. There’s always something going on, whether it’s live music, a magic show, a quiz or a disco. Fancy trying something a little bit different? How about a night-time petanque tournament?

The pool complex is great for swimmers and sun loungers alike. It’s home to a main pool, a paddling pool plus a chill-out pool for taking it easy. They’re all heated so they’re perfect for those rare days when the weather’s less than perfect. You’ll also find a spacious terrace lined with sun loungers and parasols for sunbathing and sipping something ice-cold from the nearby bar.

Relax with your parc bar’s unique cocktails in an exciting atmosphere! Head to the Ondres Beach Stop for a range of delicious dishes, from local specialties to Brazilian fare and family-friendly options. Let your parc’s bar and restaurant become your base for an unforgettable meal to round off every evening. The restaurant organises themed evenings with special offers, including all-you-can-eat mussels and French fries and giant paellas. Head to the snack bar for freshly baked breads and pastries. Enjoy a pizza or panini with a cold drink or refreshing ice cream.

Local area
Lou Pignada Ondres is in Landes, a much-loved region of southwestern France famed for its tall pine trees and Atlantic beaches. The area immediately outside the parc is lovely and green, filled with cycle paths and hiking trails. The most famous is the 1200km Vélodyssée cycle route, which passes the parc and runs all the way from Roscoff to Hendaye in Spain.
Ondres Plage, just two kilometres from the parc, is the closest beach and there’s a free shuttle bus straight there. You’ll also find several lakes dotted across the region that make great spots for picnics. We recommend Lake Hossegor, a 20-minute drive from the parc. Oysters are farmed in the lake’s tidal waters – order a dozen while you’re here!
