Campsite Vreehorst is located in the province of Gelderland, in the small town Winterswijk. Vreehorst is a small but luxurious campsite with lots of facilities. The holiday park is located just 0,2 miles from the national park 'de Bekendelle'. Guests that like to walk or bicycle in the near surroundings will be surprised by the lovely nature.

The pitches on the Vreehorst are spacious and the Vreehorst knows sanitary facilities are important. Therefore, they have done their upmost effort to make sure the sanitary facilities are well maintained and modern. The sanitary facilities are luxurious with family-showers, changing rooms for babies, and even floor heating!

On campsite there are lots of activities and facilities for the children. There is an outdoor pool. with separate kids pool, a playground with bouncing castle, and a sports field with artificial grass. During the high season, kids with an age up to 11 years can join the entertainment program. Furthermore, the campsite is suited with Wi-Fi and has an internet point, a snack bar, daily fresh bread at the bakery, a sunbathing area with wallaby's, an indoor pool, and you can rent bicycles.

Luxurious accommodations on the Vreehorst
On the Vreehorst they offer multiple accommodations next to their pitches. They offer multiple Chalets, varying with space for 4 to 6 persons, and one luxurious chalet with wooden covered decking. All chalets are detached, fully equipped and have an outside terrace.

Want a unique camping experience? Try on of the Safari-lodgetents the Vreehorst rents out. These fully equipped canvas tents have their own sanitary facilities (toilet, shower, sink) and heating. They offer both a Safari-lodgetent for max 6 persons, and a Safari-lodgetent for max 5 persons. The Safari-lodgetent for 5 persons has a second floor, the perfect place for the kids to sleep and play.

The Netherlands, country of bikes
At the campsite reception you can rent a bike, or you can take your own to the campsite. At the reception you can also ask for advice on bicycle routes and the ANWB-service point which is on the campsite (this is a bicycle repair point). The bicycle routes in the Achterhoek (region in which the Vreehorst is located) are extensive and almost 1000 miles long in total!
