Camping Podersdorf am See is located directly on the shores of Lake Neusiedl, the largest steppe lake in this region. Its lakeside setting, shaded pitches and modern sanitary facilities make this an attractive and comfortable campsite.

Plenty of water sports
This three-star campsite is an excellent choice for nature lovers. The surrounding area is ideal for walking and cycling, and the location by the lake is a real highlight. The lake is shallow and therefore warms up quickly in summer, making it very pleasant for swimming. The campsite has a 500-metre-long pebble beach and a spacious sunbathing lawn. You can enjoy fishing, surfing and swimming here, or bring your own boat and even take part in sailing courses (boats up to 10 metres).

Relax, or stay active if you like
The beach is accessible to all guests and divided into different zones. This allows for relaxed swimming, while families with young children have plenty of space to play and enjoy the water. There is a separate zone for water sports enthusiasts such as surfers and kitesurfers, which keeps everything safe and well organised. You can unwind on the grassy sunbathing areas, while children meet up with new friends at the playground. For snacks and drinks, there is a snack bar on site, where you can also buy fresh bread rolls in the morning.

Entertainment in high season
Located in eastern Austria, Lake Neusiedl is a sunny and popular holiday destination and one of the country’s main water sports areas. The charming villages, local culture, music, wines and rich history make this a special place to spend your holiday. The gently rolling landscape with its many vineyards is perfect for walkers and cyclists. A visit to the Hungarian town of Sopron, with its beautiful historic centre (which was Austrian before 1920), is also well worth it. In addition, Vienna is easily reached from Camping Podersdorf am See (around 70 km away). A day trip to Vienna is a real highlight, with its impressive museums, striking architecture, traditional Viennese cuisine and, of course, a visit to the famous Schönbrunn Palace.
