Le Ried

Three-star Camping Le Ried is quietly located in the heart of Alsace on the Rhine and within walking distance of the town of Boofzheim. This town is located 36 km south of Strasbourg. Just south of this campsite is Colmar, a beautiful town with beautiful half-timbered houses. From the campsite you can easily discover the beautiful surroundings by bike or even on foot.

The campsite has its own small lake where you can swim and fish. There is a large supermarket about 100 m away. The Europa Park amusement and family park, near Freiburg, is only about 8 km away! At Du Ried campsite there is both an indoor and an outdoor swimming pool with jacuzzi and sun loungers. For the little ones there is a separate children's pool at the outdoor pool. There are plenty of activities such as mini golf, boules, a playground, football and volleyball field and bicycle rental. In the summer there are organized day and canoe trips, for a fee.

You will find camping Le Ried in Alsace, 36 km south of Strasbourg. Due to its location in the middle of the Rhine valley, between the Vosges in France (25 km) and the Black Forest (25 km) ) in Germany, it is a suitable base to visit these two countries in one holiday. The area is known for the many storks that reside here. There are plenty of opportunities for fun excursions in the area. Just south of camping Du Ried is the town of Colmar, a pleasant town with half-timbered houses. You can discover the Alsatian wines of the region in the various villages in the area. Furthermore, the towns of Obernai, Riquewihr and of course Freiburg are really worth a visit. The Europa Park amusement park is a fun day out for the children.
