Looking for a fantastic campsite on the Costa Brava? Four-star Camping Playa Brava is located right on Platja de Pals beach in north-eastern Catalonia, not far from the Spanish-French border. This lovely campsite is the perfect place for a fantastic family camping holiday. The beautifully shaded campsite enjoys a wonderful beachfront location, and you can even take a small boat along the canal to the sea. The lovely swimming pool is surrounded by a spacious sunbathing lawn, perfect for relaxing in the sunshine. There is also a separate children's pool for younger guests. During the high season, a varied entertainment programme offers plenty of activities for all ages.

Relaxation or an action-packed Spanish holiday?

A holiday at Camping Playa Brava is all about family fun, swimming and activities. The campsite is suitable for children of all ages, with plenty to keep everyone entertained.

There is a disco three times a week, and the campsite becomes peaceful after midnight, when many of the teenagers head down to the beach. During the day, there are lots of activities for younger children too. The child-friendly beach slopes gently into the sea, making it ideal for families. You can also enjoy a refreshing swim in the lovely pool, while little ones splash around in their own paddling pool. Afterwards, unwind with a drink on the terrace by the pool.

Prefer to keep active on holiday? No problem! The campsite has several sports pitches and tennis courts. Golf enthusiasts will also find some excellent golf courses nearby.

Pals, the Medes Islands, Barcelona or simply the beach

The beautiful Basses d'en Coll nature reserve lies right next to the area surrounding Camping Playa Brava, making it a wonderful destination for nature lovers. There are plenty of scenic cycling and walking routes nearby, as well as two golf courses within easy reach of the campsite.

The charming medieval villages of Pals and Ullastret are perfect for a leisurely wander. Be sure to try one of the traditional rice dishes in Pals! The Dalí Theatre-Museum in Figueres is also well worth a visit. Another wonderful experience is a glass-bottom boat trip to the beautiful Medes Islands, where you can admire the fascinating underwater world.

The historic city of Girona, with its rich archaeological heritage, and the vibrant city of Barcelona are both excellent destinations for a day trip. If you're looking for some family fun, head to the Aquadiver water park in Platja d'Aro.

The town of La Bisbal d'Empordà is famous for its traditional pottery and ceramics, while nearby Torroella de Montgrí, just 8 km away, is a lovely place for a spot of shopping.
