Camping Castell d'Aro is located on the Costa Brava, in a wooded area, 50 km south of the provincial capital of Girona. The nearest beach, Platja de Sant Pol is 2.4 km away and is one of the nicer beaches in the surrounding area. The touristy Platja d'Aro is also nearby and offers plenty of entertainment such as shops, restaurants and bars. Gerona (Girona in Catalan) is the capital of the province of the same name and is well worth a visit with its Gothic cathedral, Jewish quarter, Arab baths and 'hanging' buildings on the river Onyar, among others! This friendly 3-star family campsite has all amenities including restaurant, shop, basketball and swimming pool with paddling pool. 3-star campsite Castell d'Aro is a great choice if you like peace and quiet but still like to find some cosiness.
A pleasant and child-friendly campsite on the Costa Brava This is also a great campsite for the youngest guests. They will make friends quickly and have a choice of two playgrounds and a fine swimming pool with paddling pool. There are also sports pitches on the campsite, so challenge your new friends to the table tennis and a game of football or basketball. And don't forget to pack your padel racket as the padel court is challenging. Fun sports events are regularly organised by the entertainment team in high season. How about a water tournament in the pool with all kinds of inflatable equipment. And if you get hungry after a day at the beach or by the pool, you can enjoy tasty snacks at the campsite restaurant overlooking the pool. If you prefer to prepare your own meal, there is a large supermarket a short distance from the campsite and you can do your daily shopping at the campsite.
