The River Arre runs alongside the campsite. There’s a grassy riverside area, sometimes with a slightly steeper bank. The sanitary facilities are well maintained. For a glamping stay, you can hire one of the lovely Coco Sweet tents, or for extra comfort choose a house or a mobile home. The town of Le Vigan is about 2.5 km away and easy to reach on foot or by bike. Both Le Vigan and Ganges have large supermarkets.
Cool off in the river or the pool
Camping Le Val de l’Arre has a swimming pool and a splash pool for the youngest swimmers. Sun loungers are set out around the pool. The grassy riverbank and small beach area make it a great spot for sunbathing and playtime too. Older children can jump from the rocks, and thanks to the cool, calm water it’s a perfect place to freshen up. Kids can make new friends at one of the small playgrounds.
No chance of boredom in high season
A range of fun activities is offered in high season, including shows and music evenings. In the mornings, creative activities are organised for younger guests. For a bite to eat or a quick snack, head to the terrace at Snack du Val.

With plenty of walking trails, there are lots of opportunities to discover special corners of the region. Love viewpoints? Climb Mont Aigoual, the second-highest peak in the Cévennes. About 45 km from the campsite is Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert, a village you really should visit as it is one of the Grand Sites de France.
