Les Sous-Bois du Lac is set on a large site of over 14 hectares. Thanks to the flat layout, the grounds are pleasantly shady and offer fantastic views over the surroundings and Lake Naussac. This 3-star campsite is in the French department of Lozère, in the Occitanie region. It’s a quiet part of France with wide-open nature and plenty of lesser-known spots to discover.

A family-friendly campsite
On site you’ll find a large outdoor swimming pool with slides, plus a water play area for the youngest children. The campsite restaurant also enjoys lovely views over the lake and surrounding nature. As it sits right next to the pool, it’s easy to enjoy a drink while the children play in the water.

Plenty of activities on site
In high season, Les Sous-Bois du Lac organises two types of entertainment. During the day, you can head out into nature with a guide and get explanations along the way. There are also sports tournaments, mini Olympics and many other activities. In the evening, entertainment takes place by the bar — such as dance performances, karaoke, a live band, or other options.

Stay active on holiday
Because the area around the campsite is relatively flat, it’s ideal for cycling and walking. There are over 250 km of walking routes around Lake Naussac, and more than 700 km of roads suitable for cyclists.
