Four-star campsite Le Chateau de Galaure is located in the Drôme and is a friendly campsite where families with children up to 14 years old can have a great time. The facilities and entertainment are geared to families with children of all ages. This charming campsite is a short distance from the River Galaure and the small village of Châteauneuf-de-Galaure.

The whole family will have a great time at Le Château de Galaure. How about a nice pool complex with a few slides and a lazy river. And how about the beach pool with beach on the campsite itself. The campsite has a nice atmosphere. Besides playing and splashing, the children can have fun on the air trampoline and in the playgrounds or indoor playground. You can relax in the sauna. The entertainment team provides a fun daytime and evening programme.

And if you feel peckish after a day at the pool, you can enjoy a fine meal at the campsite restaurant from the sun terrace. Shops and terraces are just around the corner, the campsite entrance is practically next to the village. Perhaps you can even join a game of petanque with the locals in the afternoon.

Holidays in a sunny climate
Tranquillity seekers and nature lovers will love it here anyway. The River Galaure is a short distance from the campsite so don't forget to pack your fishing rod. This region also offers great cycling and hiking opportunities. The Ardèche department borders the Drôme so there is plenty of nature. Cities such as Vienne, Valence and Lyon are certainly worth a visit.

Dit is een leuke camping voor een keer. Zwembad is te klein, maar glijbanen zijn leuk. Soms zijn er niet genoeg bedden rond het zwembad. Mannen zijn verplicht een strakke zwembroek te dragen, dus houd daar rekening mee. Naast het zwembad ook een meer met strand, wel zo fijn wanneer het te druk is bij het zwembad. Al met al prima vakantie gehad maar wel voor een keer.

Prima camping hoor met een leuk zwembad en water met strandje. Zitten hier eind van vakantie en zagen het in de loop van de weken wat rustiger worden (wat in deze tijd wel prettig is) waardoor wij nog meer van de zwembaden konden genieten. De directe omgeving van de camping is rustig, slapende dorpjes. Om wat te zien moet je wat verder rijden. Onze stacaravan was prima en ok ingericht. Wij vonden het sanitair op de camping wel matig maar dat kwam vooral door de gasten denken wij. Het punt voor sanitair was voor onze accommodatie.

Wij hebben een echte fijne vakantie gehad met onze 2 tieners, 13 en 15 jaar. Want deze camping heeft toch wat hij belooft, een leuk zwembad (wel koud), en leuke activiteiten worden er georganiseerd. Wel duur winkeltje maar gelukkig genoeg supermarkten in de buurt. Kortom wij en onze kinderen hebben ons hier goed vermaakt. Ook het sanitair was prima hoor, gewoon eenvoudig. Veel Hollanders, vonden onze kinderen fantastisch.

Helaas vonden wij het vreselijk. Slecht sanitair of heel koud of superwarm. Heel veel drukte veroorzaakt door luidruchtige animatie. Niets te doen in de omgeving en het zwembad veeeeeel te koud en niet bijzonder. Alle stacaravans op ene hoop.

Net terug van daar en ik heb een schitterende tijd beleefd. Vriendelijke mensen, veel natuur, grote mogelijkheid tot sport en beweging. De camping beschikt over een prachtig zwembad en mooie staanplaatsen (vrij te kiezen)
