l'Hirondelle

The 4-star Camping L'Hirondelle is situated in the heart of the Drôme region, just a short distance from the town of Die. The site features just under 100 pitches, nestled under trees along the riverbank. The layout is varied, and many pitches offer stunning views of the surrounding fields and mountains.

Water Slides and Fishing
Guests of all ages will find plenty to do at L'Hirondelle. Enjoy the outdoor swimming pool, which features a large slide, two smaller slides, and a rapid river channel. There is a dedicated paddling pool for toddlers with a safe depth of 20 to 40 centimetres. You can also cast a line in the large fishing pond or let the children make new friends in the games room. The on-site shop sells fresh bread rolls, newspapers, and souvenirs.

Nature Reserves and Historic Villages
The campsite is set in a spectacular environment, perfect for hiking, cycling, and cultural trips. The charming village of Châtillon-en-Diois is just 3.5 km away; explore its narrow streets, vineyards, and the local market on Friday mornings. Don't miss the nearby historic towns of Die (11 km), Crest (50 km), and Saou (65 km). Surrounded by nature, the campsite is close to the Cirque d'Archiane (18 km), the starting point for hikes through Europe's largest nature reserve. In warm weather, the towering limestone cliffs of the Gorges des Gâts (12 km) provide welcome shade, and the nearby High Plateaus of the Vercors (Hauts-Plateaux) are well worth exploring.
