La Nublière (Lac d'Annecy)

La Nublière camp site is situated on the shores of the famous Lake Annecy at the foot of the French Alps. A fantastic area for a camping holiday, with mountains, water and a wonderfully mild climate. You can walk straight to the beach from the level grounds, unless you prefer to take your towel and lie on one of the lawns. Either way you will have wonderful views of the lake and the enormous mountain peaks. It's only a few steps to the restaurant for a drink, an ice cream or a snack.

You can rent surfboards or sailing boats or go water skiing in the little harbour close by. If that's not exciting enough there is rafting and parasailing close by. Many flights are made by delta wing and parachute from the slopes on this side of the lake.

You must not miss Annecy; a beautiful historic centre with small bridges, flowers on every balcony, quaint shops and excellent restaurants.

For a carefree holiday at one of the most popular lakes in the French Alps, this is an excellent choice. There's plenty to do around the lake and lots to explore in the surrounding area, with many good day trips to choose from. Hop on a ferry in Doussard and be taken to Annecy in just a few stops. During the trip you will see many interesting sights, like the small castle of Cezanne.
