Knaus campingpark Hennesee

Campingpark Hennesee is located in the middle of the hilly region of Sauerland on a lovely lake close to the town of Meschede. As well as the water you will find extensive woods and many typical German towns. A wonderful area for taking long walks or bike rides, for strolling along the shores of the lake or for enjoying your holiday in a more active way.
You can enjoy the indoor heated swimming pool and sauna on the site or simply borrow books and games. An entertainment team organises activities for children and adults in high season.
You can go windsurfing and try other watersports on the lake, such as fishing. There are plenty of opportunities on the camp site for a day full of activity: golf, tennis, volleyball and minigolf.

There are countless towns to visit in the area and plenty of cultural sights to enjoy on a day out. You will be amazed by the beauty of this area of the Hochsauerland Höhenstraße! You are not far from the Dortmund-Essen-Cologne conurbation but right in the middle of natural countryside. The densely wooded province of Hessen is just east of North-Rhine Westphalia.
