Knauscamp Lackenhauser is situated to the south of the Dreisesselberg, has many facilities....If you are looking for a really relaxing camping holiday in Germany, Lackenhäuser camp site in Bavaria is the place, also in the autumn and winter months. And not just for its beautiful location in southern Germany, but also the region around Passau on the Danube and the start of the Bohemian Woods that continue deep into the Czech Republic. This means endless forests where you can walk for miles without meeting anyone. But there are plenty of facilities for indulging body and mind at Lackenhäuser camp site.

There is a masseur, an indoor (heated) swimming pool, sauna, solarium, spa baths and a practice for naturopathy.
In winter this is wonderful place for downhill or cross country skiing in the pure mountain air of the Bavarian Forest. The grounds are not called a 'camping park' without reason; you will camp in a real parkland setting. This is also a wonderful area in winter for walking and relaxing. There is plenty to satisfy your appetite: there is a good restaurant with a Bavarian menu.

In summer you can take a dip in the natural pool with lawns for sunbathing. There is a minigolf course, playground, skittle alley and beach volleyball for the children. They can also go pony riding under supervision. This is the perfect place for a holiday to relax body and mind. A few kilometres drive and you will be in western Austria; the Czech border is also not far away.

Lackenhauser is situated near the nature reserve of the Bayerischer Wald, which consists of dense woods and miles of walking tracks...

Relaxte camping, veel groen en met een natuurzwembad. Wel wat fris in het najaar, maar er was ook een binnenzwembad voor de kleumen :-) We hadden geluk met de plaats waar we stonden, want op verschillenden plekken stonden de caravans dichter op elkaar. Onze kinderen hebben zich hier prima vermaakt op de speelplaats en in de bossen. Er waren genoeg andere (nederlandse) kinderen hier. Mijn partner was wel entousiast over het wellnesscentrum en ik heb urenlang kunnen wandelen in de bossen. Zeer relaxed , en precies wat ik zocht voor de vakantie.

Sfeervolle vakantiewoning, wel dicht op elkaar. Rustig en schoon met goede voorzieningen zoals winkel en restaurant. Veel gewandeld en leuke stadjes (met de auto) bezocht. Op woensdag het Grillfest bijgewoond, heel gezellig, mag wat ons betreft vaker in de week. Leuk speelbos. Buitenbad wel bitter koud ha ha. Klein minpuntje dat het winkeltje als na 10 uur s'morgens dicht gaat, dus geen ijsjes bij mooi weer overdag. Buiten zwemmen in natuurbad was wel koud en het binnenbad is heel basis.

Het was voor ons een bofvakantie met nieuwe stacaravan in dit prachtige landschap. Het sanitair was zeker proper te noemen. Vriendelijk personeel.

Super fijne camping, heerlijk rustig en fijne animatie voor onze kinderen. De camping heeft blijkbaar de afgelopen jaren veel opknapbeurten gehad, dat is wel te zien. Goed onderhouden, fijn restaurant en aardig personeel. Heerlijke omgeving, zeker voor wandelliefhebbers. Wel uitstapjes gemaakt maar daar moet je wel wat tijd voor uittrekken.

Schöner Platz, sehr gute Ausgangslage für Ausflüge. Traumhafte Lage mit Wandermöglichkeiten. Personal freundlicht und gutes zum Essen.

Wij als natuurliefhebbers hebben genoten van deze camping. We hadden een Chalet van Vrij-uit. Een houten huisje, meer is het niet. Maar dat was heerlijk. Verder veel gewandeld en de kinderen hebben lekker gespeeld en vonden het animatieteam ook leuk.
