Rieumontagné is set in the middle of rolling green hills. But for all this lush beauty, it’s the shimmering Lake Laouzas that steals the show.
Just a 300m stroll from the parc, the lake provides a hub of activity. You can try kayaking, paddle boarding or fishing. Or you can just relax on its banks while everyone else splashes about.
There’s plenty of fun in the water back at Rieumontagné too. The pool’s tempting waters are ideal for cooling off after soaking up the sun. Its surrounding terrace is the perfect spot to enjoy a good book if you can pull your gaze away from the countryside views.
You’ll find great dining options at the parc. Grab something quick and tasty from the pizzeria. Or, if you prefer to take your time, pull up a seat, order a drink and try some local cuisine at the lovely on-parc restaurant.
