De Vossenburcht

Holiday park the Vossenburcht is a 5-star campsite in the centre of the woods of IJhorst, nearby Staphorst in the province of Overijssel. On this campsite you can find all needed facilities for a wonderfull vacation with the entire family in the Netherlands. You can rent both pitches for your tent or caravan, or rent one of the accommodations. They offer mobile homes, cabins, bungalows and special "tenthouses" (Lodgetents with sanitary facilities). Of course the campsite has well maintained sanitary facilities, a nice swimming pool and an animation team for entertainment.

Peace, quiet and lots of space!
Family-friendly campsite the Vossenburcht is in one of the most beautiful and undiscovered area's of Overijssel. You can enjoy the forests and meadows by bike or on foot. There are lots of amazing old farms, some still comlpetely functioning, and small authentic villages. De campsite is at the edge of the village IJhorst, with extensive shopping- and bicycle/tandem renting possibilities. During the high season you can grab a bite at the snack bar, or the restaurant. During the pre- and post season, opening times differ.

Sports and fun
In the direct surroundings of the campsite you can find multiple sport facilities. Like the recreational pond "De Zwarte Dennen", where you can swim and sunbathe. Around the pond is a mountainbike course, a run track and multiple hiking paths.

Child-friendly glamping campsite
During the holiday you don't have to worry your children will get bored while on the Vossenburcht. there is a large playground with lots of playground equipment, and during the high season the campsite has a professional animation team for entertainment. This animation team also organises multiple events during the day, like bicycle tours, children games and much more.
