Excited for a newly started campsite in the Le Marche region, Italy? This small green campsite, with just 24 pitches, is located in the lovely Italian rolling landscape nearby the small town of Loro Piceno. The Dutch owners, Rens and Rachel, have started this campsite in the 2019 season (opening June 1st 2019). On the campsite you can find 4 luxurious safari tents, and 6 fully equipped bungalow tents. The Agriturismo is surrounded by olive trees and an amazing lavender field. The perfect place for guests who enjoy tranquility, space and Dutch hospitality.

Camping44, a child friendly Glampsite in the Le Marche Region
The facilities on this campsite have all been newly build in 2019. Including spacious modern sanitary facilities. The kids will make friends quickly at the large above-ground swimming pool (10 by 5 yards) or at the playground. They can also show their skills at a game of table tennis or table soccer.

You will also find a pool-bar at the swimming pool, where you can enjoy a refreshing drink or just enjoy the view. The owners frequently organize Italian evenings, with bites and drinks. At the campsite you can also get fresh bread everyday, and you can buy the vegetables the owners grow in the garden of the Agriturismo.

Accommodation on the Agriturismo
Do you prefer to bring your own tent or caravan? Camping44 has spacious pitches that all offer a stunning view on the surrounding mountain landscape.

Prefer Luxury? The Agriturismo has 4 fully equipped luxurious safari tents which they rent out. These are suited for a maximum of 5 guests. Within the accommodation you find a fully equipped kitchen, a stove, and a fridge with freezer compartment. The safari tent has 2 sleeping compartments with 2 comfortable beds each. An extra bed will be placed if a fifth person is present. The wooden terrace of the safari tent ensures you can enjoy outdoors, while experiencing the scenery.

Lastly, the campsite also offers 6 fully equipped Bungalow Tents. Suitable for a maximum of 5 guests, and is around 26 sq meters large.

Discover Le Marche
Within walking distance of Camping44 you find the little village of Loro Piceno, which has two supermarkets, some inviting restaurants, and a few bars. And of course, a few Italian ice cream parlors! The village of Loro Piceno has a fascinating historical center, with an old monastery en multiple museums.

Le Marche is not yet completely discovered by mass tourism. The rugged mountain landscape, charming villages and beautiful beaches will cause some jaw dropping experiences. All while not having to walk shoulder to shoulder in the small city centers.

Want discover the beaches of Le Marche? At the seaside village of Civitanova (a 30 min drive away) you can experience the real Le Marche beach life. Another tip of ours would be to visit Macerata (13 miles), the capital of Le Marche. This city is known as the second city to visit for Opera in Italy, and has one of the oldest universities. Discover the small streets, and impressive churches.

Don't miss out on a visit to the Archaeological park Urbs Salvia (4 miles)! And a visit to the Abbey of Fiastra at just 6 miles is also worthwhile.

In short; Le Marche is a region with a lot of diversity. Enjoy nature, history, and the old Italian city life.
