Camping La Ribeyre is deep in the Puy-de-Dôme lakeland, at the water’s edge at the foot of the extinct volcanoes of the Auvergne. Such a special setting can hardly fail to make your camping holiday a memorable and lovely one! The outstandingly good aquapark here has a lagoon swimming pool with separate toddlers’ pool, waterfall feature, whirlpool, slides and a covered pool. The pools are heated in high season. A crystal-clear swimming lake with beach is also available to campers at La Ribeyre.

Once you’ve worked up an appetite from all the swimming, you can just head to the snack bar or order a pizza on site. Ice cream, bread and pastries are also available. You can also hit the bar for a refreshing drink! The on-site entertainment team lays on no fewer than thirty activities a day in high season: boredom is unheard-of here! This campsite in France has free WiFi with a signal that reaches all corners of the grounds.

Camping La Ribeyre is in the verdant Jassat valley, across from the chateau of Murol and not far from the lake of Chambon. Within striking distance, there are countless footpaths that will lead you deep into the beauty of the area.
Le Mont-Dore, at the foot of Puy de Sancy mountain, is a winter sports resort that in summer serves as a health spa. The nearby spa of Saint-Nectaire has a casino and Romanesque church. The chateau of Murol, opposite your holiday park, is well worth a visit and puts on historical demonstrations. Europe’s volcano park, Vulcania, is just 35 km away.
