On the heel of Italy you will find the coastal campsite Camping La Scogliera. This terraced 3-star campsite is located on the Salento peninsula in Apulia. Enjoy the fantastic views over the crystal-clear blue sea. The campsite facilities are well maintained. On warm days you can cool off in the swimming pool and relax afterwards on one of the sun loungers. Just a short distance from your accommodation lies the beautiful rocky and sandy beach of Spiaggia Porto Miggiano.

Aquagym in the pool or an Italian cookery class?
There is plenty to do on site, from cookery classes to bike and scooter hire. Younger guests can enjoy themselves in one of the playgrounds. The campsite is divided into two sections by a road. In the seafront section you will find all facilities, including a restaurant, pizzeria and a cosy terrace overlooking the sea. If you prefer to cook yourself, you can buy groceries at the campsite shop. Barbecue enthusiasts can use the communal barbecue area.

What to see and do from Camping La Scogliera
You will not find mass tourism here – the atmosphere is still authentic. The coastline features white sandy beaches as well as impressive rock formations with mysterious caves and grottoes. In the fertile hinterland you will discover unspoilt, charming villages and traditional farmhouses. During your holiday, be sure to visit the historic cities of Lecce, Otranto and Brindisi, as well as the old town of Gallipoli. Santa Maria di Leuca is the sunniest spot in Apulia, where the Adriatic and Ionian Seas meet.
