Camping Valverde is located inland, on a green hill, between Luz and Lagos, not far from a lovely nature area. Lagos is 6km away and there's a bus stop at the entrance to the campsite. There's lots of shade and everything you could need for a good holiday including a swimming pool with a friendly terrace a separate children's pool, tennis, sports, playground, shop, bar, snack bar, restaurant with the option of take-away food and lots more. There's entertainment for children. Choose from the various golf courses in the area. The lovely sandy beach at Praia da Luz is only 1.5km away.

The Algarve is one of the most popular beach destinations in Europe, making it perfect for a great holiday.
The coastline is beautiful with white sandy beaches surrounded by rough reddish rocks that delve into the sea. In spring and autumn the warm gulf stream provides a pleasant climate.
The ancient city of Lagos features an 800 year old city wall, historic houses and several pleasant squares. There are no high rise buildings here. Further east is the city of Portimáo with a large Portuguese fleet of boats that fish for sardines. There' s lots of brightly coloured fishing boats to provide the daily catch that you find on your plate the very same evening.

Close by is Albufeira, which is one of the best-known tourist resorts in Portugal. The port of Sagres is located on the most south westerly point in Europe.
