Casa da Vinha is a beautiful, small-scale holiday retreat in southern Portugal offering stylish, fully equipped luxury lodge tents and a tastefully furnished holiday home. The Dutch owners warmly welcome you – hospitality is their main priority. Enjoy the stunning Alentejo region with its peace, space and unspoilt nature. Casa da Vinha borders the Southwest Alentejo and Costa Vicentina Natural Park. One of the beautiful beaches of Zambujeira do Mar is just 13 kilometres away. On the farm, purebred Lusitano horses are bred – and the foals are wonderfully friendly and love a cuddle.

The Luxo Lodge offers every comfort, including a gas hob, microwave, large fridge-freezer, fully equipped kitchen, spacious dining area, comfortable seating area and three double beds (one set up as a cosy cabin-style bed). The generous bathroom features a hot rainfall shower.

In the morning, enjoy your coffee on the spacious terrace with BBQ, overlooking your own private swimming pool. For younger guests, everything is provided: high chair, cot, potty, baby bouncer and plenty of indoor and outdoor toys. Children especially love sleeping in the cabin-style bed. You may also choose the charming holiday home Casa Oliveira (50 m²), suitable for 2–3 guests.

A unique and diverse region
The surroundings of Casa da Vinha are truly special. Explore the Southwest Alentejo and Costa Vicentina Natural Park just nearby. Plan a relaxing beach day at Zambujeira do Mar or discover one of the many other beautiful beaches in the area, each with its own character and charm.  The famous Rota Vicentina offers over 310 kilometres of walking and mountain biking trails with spectacular coastal views. The owners are happy to help you plan enjoyable day trips to picturesque harbours, hidden restaurants and stunning sunset spots. For daily shopping, head to São Teotónio, where you’ll find supermarkets, local shops and welcoming cafés and restaurants.

Other attractive towns to visit include Vila Nova de Milfontes, Odemira and Évora (around 180 km away), the historic capital of the Alentejo and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. A little further afield (186 km), the Bay of Setúbal is also well worth a visit – and on the ferry crossing you may even spot dolphins.
