Welcome to this quiet and sheltered family campsite near the Wadden Sea. Only 10 minutes from the island Rømø with the broadest sandy beaches in Northern Europe. The campsite is located in the beautiful Marsch Country with its rich bird life, not far from the historic towns of Tønder, Ribe and Møgeltønder. Since December 2016 we, Klaas and Linda de Weerd, have been the new owners of Ballum Camping. They have the Dutch nationality and welcome there guests in the Dutch, German, English, French and soon also in the Danish language.


Family-friendly campsite in South Denmark
Ballum Camping borders to National Park Wadden Sea, which is part of the World Heritage List of UNESCO. In this natural area you can see many birds and wildlife species throughout the year. Legoland is a fantastic playground and amusement park with more than 50 attractions for you and your children. Located in Billund, only 90 minutes by car from Ballum Camping. Visit the museum and the mill of Højer. Take a cruise to the seal banks from Vidåslusen, an adventure for children to look for mussels and crabs. 10 minutes by car from Ballum Camping.

There are nice spacious pitches of 100m². You can rent a safaritent for 2-6 persons, fully furnished and equipped or a nice chalet/cabin suitable for 4 persons. The owners of this campsite are real dog lovers and there dogs should always go with them on holiday. Therefore, your dog is most welcome at Ballum Camping (maximum 2 dogs per pitch). Also in one of the chalets and two safari tents you can bring your dog (maximum 1 dog).

Echt alleen maar lof. Keurig en heel erg schoon sanitair. Genoten van onze vakantie in Denemarken. De eigenaars zijn erg gastvrij en er heerst een hele prettige sfeer op deze kleine camping. Kinderen genoten van al het speelgoed en het grote springkussen.
