Bijou du Doubs is located in Lays-sur-le-Doubs in Bresse Bourguignonne, one of the most beautiful areas in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region. Located in the heart of a nature reserve (Zone Natura 2000), this small green campsite is in a fantastic location right next to the River Doubs with fifty good-sized pitches, most of them shaded, and eight rental units. Also, ideally located for a stopover on your way to the Mediterranean or the Atlantic. You will quickly realize that one night is not enough at this pleasant and hospitable site.

Plenty of water fun in the pool and various fun activities
The swimming pool (6x13m) is inviting: adults can relax here, children can romp with friends and cool off on hot summer days. The water of the river Doubs is at your feet, so you can play and splash in the water, go fishing from the shore or boat, watch the local birds or go canoeing... Furthermore, in the immediate vicinity of the campsite there are many great excursion options; from visiting castles to discovering Burgundian wineries.

There is no shortage of Burgundian enjoyment...
This "Juwel" (Bijou) offers a beautiful restaurant with a terrace, where the chef is personally at the stove. An extensive menu is offered with delicious, local dishes and the chef's own creations. A local speciality are the frog legs with parsley and garlic, or with pear and Roquefort sauce. Or how about lamb shank, sirloin steak or Boeuf Bourguignon... And you're staying at a campsite, so of course you can also order hamburgers made from Charolais beef in different variations. Of course, you can also cook for yourself: 6 km from camping Bijou du Doubs you will find two supermarkets, various butchers, bakers and a market with local producers on Monday morning.
