Airotel Pyrénées is set in the very heart of the mountains and on the edge of a beautiful National Park, at the foot of some of the most spectacular Pyrénean passes.

This place to be is Ideal for cyclists and walkers and you’ll also find a good choice of restaurants in nearby Luz St. Sauveur, which is an attractive mountain resort and spa town. Why not enjoy a relaxing drink with the stunning backdrop of the majestic Pyrénées behind you? Some road noise may be heard.

The magnificent pool complex consists of four pools, sauna, Jacuzzi, whirlpool and three waterslides for a whole world of family fun. You can choose to be as active or inactive as you like and the indoor pool provides a weather-proof sanctuary just in case.

Perfectly located for both the active and the not-so-active guests, here you can take part in various activities, from rock-climbing and white water rafting to fishing and cycling. The town of Luz St Sauveur is just 1.5km away and has a number of bars and restaurants as well as shops, a theatre and a cinema. Further afield, you will find spectacular panoramic views of the Pyrénées at the Pic du Midi Observatory, and about 30km from the parc is the small town of Lourdes.

Een camping waar je gastvrij ontvangen wordt. 5 sterren? Niet helemaal terecht denken wij. Met name omdat wij graag eens lekker gaan eten op een camping en dat gaat hier niet echt. Verder animatie Frans en gericht op alleen jonge kinderen. De avonden op deze camping zijn heerlijk rustig. En de omgeving heeft ook veel te bieden, wandelen en mountainbiken.

Een leuke camping hoor met 3 zwembadjes. Ook een binnenbadje hoort daarbij. Voor frites kun je bij de snackbar terecht. Franse activiteiten dus onze kinderen waren niet te porren. Wat een prachtige omgeving.

Airotel ligt op een perfecte plek in de bergen, om te kunnen hiken en fietsen. Wat anderen op deze website schrijven dat het rustig en klein is, vond ik wel meevallen. Niet dat het een giga-camping is, maar er is genoeg te doen en ook voor kinderen. Er zijn wel DRIE zwembaden!! Dat vind je niet op 'kleine campings'. De omgeving is gewoon super. Enige nadeel is dat de camping aan een vrij drukke weg ligt.

Heerlijk een verademing na een week op een grote animatie/rijke camping te hebben gestaan. Het is een fijne kleine camping, niet te duur. De kampeerplaatsen goed verzorgd. Gewoon een eenvoudige camping die prachtig ligt, heerlijke wandelingen gemaakt. Er zijn gelukkig een paar restaurantjes op loopafstand. De zwembaden zijn niet erg groot, maar genoeg. Niks mis mee hoor, wel rustig en eenvoudig.
