Looking for a getaway in the heart of nature? Situated in the eastern French region of Jura, Camping Le Fayolan offers easy access to hundreds of kilometres of hiking trails, rivers, waterfalls and the stunning Clairvaux lake.
On parc, you’ll also find an impressive water complex featuring an outdoor and indoor pool, waterslides, whirlpools and even a lovely Turkish bath. Plus, your little ones can feel safe splashing about in the shallow kid’s paddling pool. Then, when they’ve had their fun, take a much-needed recline under the parasols.
Prefer staying on dry land? Test your aim at the archery range, throw some shapes in the dance class, or rent a few bikes for a spin along the nearby trails. Just be sure to head back to the parc by night to make the most of their bar and restaurant.
We’ll let you in on a secret, too. The Jura region produced some of the world’s first wooden toys – and you can visit the nearby town of Moirans-en-Montagne where it all started. Every summer, a children’s Toy Festival hosts over 50 workshops that bring the enchanting world of toy making to life. Your little ones won’t want to miss this.
