Are you looking for that small scale campsite in the region of Abruzzo, Italy? Want to escape the busy city life and take it slow on a farm campsite? On this terraced campsite on the foot of the Grans Sasso mountains the possibilities are endless to enjoy the peace and quiet of the untouched Italian landscape. The beaches of the Adriatic coast are reachable by car (40 km), to enjoy that lazy beach day. This is Italy at the finest level, with the old traditions, beautiful wines, and the best olive oil!

Childfriendly

The campsite lies on a domain of 24 acres, between century old olive trees. The campsite has 2 tents to rent and a cozy Log Cabin. Furthermore, the campsite offers pitches for 18 tents. Across the domain, children are able to run and play to their fullest. Building their own huts or dams. The campsite does not have its own swimming pool. However, there is a public swimming pool within 7 kilometers of the campsite.

Slowcamping in Italy?

Back to basics! Put your tent on one of the pitches near the mountain stream and gather your own campfire wood. Falling in sleep at night, with nothing but the sounds of nature around you. But still enjoying the luxuries of the campsite, such as the hot shower and freshly baked bread. That’s what slowcamping on Rocca di Sotto means!
