The very family friendly Aqua Viva camp site is situated in the French Dordogne, just 6 km from Sarlat, the famous capital of Périgord Noir. You can enjoy the countryside at the camp site. The camping pitches are located by the lake and offer beautiful views. The flowers, trees, sun and water make this an unforgettable holiday. Its heated swimming and play pool and large fishing pond, in the middle of the Dordogne with numerous watersport facilities, gives ' Aqua Viva' (living water) its name. The campsite is in two parts, separated by a quiet road and situated amidst natural surroundings. It lies just 6km from Sarlat and offers many summer activities such as water games, hiking and cooking.Everything at Aqua Viva camp site is designed to make your holiday go perfectly. The leisure pool, secluded by greenery, has a large swimming pool and a children's pool with slides. A beach has been laid out by the lake. The many facilities on offer, including sports and recreation, take place on two hectares of land the campsite has allocated for these. The campsite organises guided hiking tours in the surrounding area. In the evenings you can get together on the terrace and enjoy a glass of the delicious French wine and enjoy a delightful meal in the restaurant.
And if you still have some energy left, you can participate in one of the many entertainment options that are put on by the entertainment team.
The lively medieval town of Sarlat is the capital of the Périgord. Visit the colorful Saturday market with its delicious local specialties like walnut, oil, cheeses, truffles, Bergerac wines, pies and terrines. Recommendations: a visit to the famous rock paintings of Lascaux in Les Eyzies de Tayac and try a discovery by vélo rail (track bike) in Eyzerac.

Wij waren voor de eerste keer op een camping en in de Dordogne. Dit is ons zeer goed bevallen, mooi gebied en de camping was ok. Ons gezin bestaat uit 2 volwassenen en 2 nog jonge kinderen. Wel alles Franstalig op de camping, liep soms was moeizaam daardoor en de weg die naast de camping ligt is hoorbaar. Ook was de watervoorzieningen en met name het warme water regelmatig kaduk. Dit werd steeds tijdelijk opgelost maar toch hinderlijk.

Een prima echte Franse camping in een prachtig gebied. Onze stacaravan basic maar eigenlijk wel prima in orde, alles aanwezig en netjes schoon. Verder aardig personeel bij receptie en de eigenaar is erg aardig. Ons, nog jong, gezin heeft het prima gehad hier.

Wij wilden de Dordogne bezoeken en dat hebben wij uitgebreid gedaan vanaf camping Aqua Viva. De sfeer op de camping is prima. Verder vonden wij alles niet 5 sterren waard, eerder 3 sterren. Maar hebben wel de Dordogne ontdekt, wat een mooie regio zeg.

De camping is uit terrassen opgebouwd, en de camping is gescheiden door een landweg. Voor jonge kinderen een nadeel! De gezellige Franse sfeer, de kindvriendelijke animatie en de leuke omgeving maken deze camping tot een aanrader.

Simpele terrassencamping. Gastvrij, aardig ook Engels sprekend personeel.

In de mei-vakantie lekker even weg. Het was heerlijk. De camping is netjes en verzorgd en onze stacaravan was luxe. Dat moest helaas ook wel, want het weer was niet zo mooi. Jammer is wel dat er 'twee' kampeergedeeltes zijn; gescheiden door een weg. Daardoor kun je je kinderen niet zomaar met hun vriendjes die ergens anders staan meesturen.

Leuke kleine camping,heel gezellig. Lekker centraal in de Dordogne. Op de camping veel animatie. Kwaliteit van het eten in het restaurant goed. Een hardwerkende tuinman, zag er keurig uit. Sanitair uitstekend onderhouden. En de Dordogne nodigt uit tot bewegen. Kanoen, grotten en kastelen.
