Camping Ginsterveld is a family campsite located a short distance from the beautiful, wide beaches in the northern part of Schouwen-Duiveland. Fifty years ago, the first campers discovered what was then a simple orchard without facilities. Their wonderful holiday experiences and enthusiasm laid the foundation for what has grown into a five-star family-run business with excellent facilities.

At this welcoming Zeeland campsite you will find spacious pitches (including some with private sanitary facilities). For extra comfort, you can opt for a chalet or a luxury Woodlodge. If you are looking for a glamping experience, you are in the right place here, as you can also rent a Glamping Lodge for up to seven people. It’s the perfect place to fully enjoy a wonderful stay in Zeeland.

Wide beaches, swimming pools and beautiful forests
Whether you come for peace and quiet, comfort, family fun, beach days or an active holiday – everything is possible here. Children will have a fantastic time in one of the many playgrounds or in the indoor swimming pool complex with children’s pools, a large pool with current channel and a 40-metre water slide. While the children make new friends in the water, parents can relax in the whirlpool or Turkish steam bath.

On sunny days, the outdoor pool with slide offers welcome refreshment. During Easter, Ascension, Whitsun and in May, July and August, the campsite organises an extensive recreation programme for children up to 12 years old. And if the weather is less favourable, the indoor water and sand play area provides great fun.

Discover Schouwen-Duiveland
From your holiday base, you can enjoy wonderful cycling and walking routes. The northern part of Schouwen-Duiveland boasts expansive beaches and, behind the dunes, the largest forest area in Zeeland: Boswachterij Westerschouwen. Expect peace, space and impressive natural surroundings, combined with charming villages and seaside resorts.

On less sunny days, you can visit local museums such as the regional and agricultural museum Goemanszorg, Terra Maris or the Watersnoodmuseum. A canal cruise through Middelburg is also a lovely outing for families, offering views of historic buildings and picturesque streets lined with grand old houses and warehouses.
