Camping Nieuwpoort is a spacious 4-star campsite, set beside a large recreational lake 5km from the beach. Ideal for sailors, fishermen and surfers. The whole family will love the large heated swimming pool. There are 2 deep pools with challenging slides and a children's pool with a small slide and a clown that sprays water. For adults there are shows, nature walks and workshops. Savour the typical Flemish fries, Belgian beers and regional dishes in the Tavern.

The campsite has many sports and play areas plua an indoor playground and a petting zoo. In the high season there's an entertainment program for children up to 12 years old in Kiki's Adventure Club. Children will be happy with a visit to the theme parks of Plopsaland De Panne and Bellewaerde in Ypres. The lovely recreational lake, heated swimming pool with children's pool and the sandy beaches offers plenty of choice.

Nieuwpoort is a medieval coastal port and a popular contemporary resort. Close by is the nature reserve 'De Ijzermonding', a favorite breeding ground for many seabirds and where seals are regularly seen. It's a beautiful hiking area.
Hire a bike or tandem and follow the lovely Frontzate route to Diksmuide or the Kleine Polderroute to Middelkerke. Walk through the car-free Zeedijk with its numerous shops, restaurants and cafes. Use the tram to explore the Flemish coastline. It runs every 15 minutes from Knokke to De Panne.
